Immaculately restored Zwitter Beetle. The Volkswagen Beetle Zwitter is the rarest of Beetles, only being produced from 1952-1953. The German word “zwitter” means hermaphrodite/hybrid, referencing the part oval and part split window on the rear of the vehicle. The Zwitter was only produced for 6 months, as VW was using up the last of the remaining split-window shells while already fitting the new parts from the next generation of Beetle.
