SPECIFICATIONS
This one-off custom made Moto-Guzzi Custom Cafe Racer was completed in 2014. The frame was de-lugged and dressed, then sent for sandblasting and powder coating. The motor was stripped, cleaned, painted and serviced and then rebuilt replacing every nut and bolt with Stainless Steel allen caps. The original ignition system was notorious for giving endless problems so that was replaced by a more modern electronic system. The front suspension we stripped, lowered internally by 25mm and rebuilt. The rear suspension received IKON adjustable units in favour of the original set up. The front dual Brembo brakes were brakes were upgraded to larger twin pot calipers also by Brembo. The ally tank is from Axel Budde of Kaffee Machine. The red leather cafe style seat is a hand made custom unit as are the green concave number boards on either side of the bike. The wiring harness was simplified to run the basics for street legality. We opted to run the OEM speedo up front, mounted it using a custom fabricated aluminium bracket that was built to house the speedo, trip reset dial and the original key and ignition switch. The stock battery was replaced with a much smaller lighter battery from Antigravity and the standard exhaust was ditched and Wolf Moto built our own 316 grade Stainless Steel 2 into 2 exhaust system. Tyres were old and were replaced with two new Bridgestone Spitfire 2 tyres. Hella bar end indicators were installed replacing the 4 stock flashers and the original clip-on bars were retained however we did shorten them for a neater front end. The original carb set was upgraded to a new Del Orto PHF 36 DS/DD carb set and the badging on the tank are original Moto Guzzi badges imported from Italy. Finished in red and silver, this is a concours condition motorcycle and an incredible machine to behold.
