1983 De Tomaso Pantera GT5

Our De Tomaso Pantera was imported from Italy; at that time, the cars were all imported CKD, without engines and drivetrains, so most of the South African Pantera’s had different engines and configuration. International Panteras were typically built with Ford Cleveland 351 small block V8’s, our car is fitted with Chev big block V8 engine; however we are not sure if this was the original engine that was fitted into the car. Our Pantera is the last of the Pantera’s and is called a GT5, wider, more aggressive body and rare in RHD.
